Leigh’s Locksmith Bridgend thank all my customers new and old supporting our small business

In 2020, I decided to retrain to become a locksmith, and set up Leigh’s Locksmiths at probably the worst time ever - during Covid. I was told then that I would never make it last, as the competition would be to much, and we would be closed within 6 months. I didn't give up, and this month marks our fourth year in business.

Over the last four years, Leigh’s Locksmiths has grown a little more each year. We have been accused by other locksmiths of “buying our reviews” and have even had a locksmiths parents messaging us for prices, but it’s been water off a ducks back and all the hard work, long hours and lack of a personal life have been worth the sacrifice to be where we are today.
When I started Leigh’s Locksmiths, I knew that there were two main factors needed to grow the business, and they were standards and service.

I believe that over this time, I have achieved this goal due to the positive feedback that has been received over this period. I am extremely grateful to all of our customers old and new who have taken the time to leave positive reviews. Unfortunately though, today we have had our first negative review on Facebook off a previous customer who I had helped get back into her property 15 months ago.

As you can imagine, this has come as a bit of a shock - especially as 15 months have elapsed, but this customer is now not happy that additional charges that were applied on that night.

With ALL customers when they call, if they are locked out - then a fixed price is given to them over the phone advising them of what the cost would be to enable them access back into their property. This then gives the customer the option to use us, wait until normal working hours ( if out of hours ) or call someone else should they want to.

It is true that there are times when we also charge a call out fee, and this is openly advertised on our website.

These times are between 7pm and 7am, Monday to Saturday, all day Sunday and also bank holidays. We do not hide this fact from anyone.

Yes, Leigh’s Locksmiths do offer a 24 hour service and we are completely dedicated to the hours of 7am to 7pm Monday to Saturday ( 72 hours ) to the business. When the phone rings, then we just go. Every job that comes in is done on the same day, but if after 7pm a call comes in, then yes we do charge a call out charge for this.
